Cora Air Taxi
Flying from place to place blissfully unaffected by traffic has been a dream for years. Cora might finally make it a reality. Currently in development in New Zealand, this autonomous vertical takeoff and landing craft is a collaboration between Larry Page-backed Kitty Hawk and Boeing. It's designed to make short commutes effortlessly quick, with room for two passengers, a top speed of 110 mph, and a range of up to 62 miles. 12 independent lift fans are powered by an all-electric system, meaning not only is it more convenient than ground transport but likely more eco-friendly, too. While the craft has made hundreds of test flights already, there is still no timeline for a public launch.
