Crosley RSD3 Mini Turntable

To celebrate Record Store Day this year, Crosley is releasing the RSD3 mini turntable: a toy-like table that only plays 3" vinyl records. The 3" format started in Japan in the early 2000s, before the current vinyl craze, and never reached a wide audience. But with releases from The Foo Fighters, The White Stripes, Bad Religion and more among this year's RSD crop, Crosley is hoping to capitalize. The tiny player is made with a moving magnet cartridge made by Audio-Technica, a pitch control slider, and a mini dust cover. The RSD3 runs on batteries or via USB and has a built-in speaker and a line-out jack for headphones.
