Chances are, you're aware of Crystal Head vodka thanks to its recognizable skull decanter and one of its owners: Dan Akroyd. And their latest batch might be the most interesting yet, as it's made using Blue Weber agave. Of course the agave plant is best known as the source of tequila and mezcal, so creating a vodka using the plant is a brand new idea. The result is refreshing spirit which will be familiar for tequila drinkers but smooth enough to be firmly entrenched in the vodka family. Onyx is blended with water from Newfoundland, Canada, and filtered through over 10,000 Herkimer diamonds and packaged in an all black skull shaped decanter.
