Danner 007 Mountain Light Boot
When James Bond needed a pair of boots for the rugged conditions in the Austrian Alps during Spectre, 007 turned to the legendary Danner Mountain Light II. Made in Danner's Portland factory, in a special black-on-black colorway, the 007 Mounting Light is a classic hiking boot with unmatched quality, durability, and support. Updated to hot waxed Horween, the one-piece leather upper offers a spy-worthy look, while the Gore-Tex lining provides waterproof protection. Danner's famous stitchdown construction creates a wider platform for stability, and the lace-to-toe system ensures a lockdown fit. It's finished with a chunky "MegaGrip" compound Vibram outsole that offers comfort, superb shock absorption, and great traction on both wet and dry surfaces — no matter if you're heading up a snow-covered crest or find yourself chasing down villains in an unexpected plane/car chase. For this limited release for 60 Years of Bond, the 007 logo has been added to the lounge of the boot and there's a 007 label on the inside of the boot, along with both classic flat black laces and black leather laces. It arrives in a limited edition, blacked-out 60 Years of Bond collector's shoe box, and is possibly the most premium Danner Mountain Light ever produced.
