Dieter Rams 931 Handbag

While he's widely known for his industrial projects, Dieter Rams has applied his Good Design principals to a handbag. The 931 was originally conceived in 1963 for the designer's wife but was never put into production. Now, 55 years later, the handbag has resurfaced as a true testament to his timeless spirit. The Tsatsas collaboration is less but better with a minimalist calf-skin leather exterior featuring a top handle and detachable shoulder strap. Its interior is lined in the brand's signature blue lamb Nappa leather and offers a zippered pocket and two small compartments. Available in black and concrete, each one is handcrafted in Germany and individually numbered.
