Ducati V21L Electric Motorcycle Prototype

Through the MotoE World Championship, Ducati has gathered a large amount of data about electric motorcycles, using the three years of development to lose 18 lbs from the battery pack in the process. Unfortunately, even that's not enough weight savings to make it as light as an internal combustion race bike with adequate range. As a result, they're working with other Volkswagen Group firms and QuantumScape on solid-state battery technology, shown for the first time in the new V21L prototype. While simply a concept for now, it represents a first step in the development of electric bikes that live up to the Borgo Panigale legacy.
