Dust Moto Hightail Electric Dirt Bike

Founded just over a year ago, Dust Moto's mission to bring electric two-wheeled off-road riding to the masses has officially begun. The Hightail is a lightweight electric dirt bike with 42 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque, all in a package weighing less than 220 pounds. A 4.4kWh removable battery is good for up to two hours of hard riding according to Dust Moto, adding the freedom of having a battery charged and ready to go on the trail. Dust Moto bases the range figure on a 25 MPH cruise speed, with the Hightail maxing out at 75 MPH. Charge time is four hours from 0-100%. The Hightail is built on an aluminum frame with a 55.1-inch wheelbase, about two inches shorter than an average 250cc dual sport. The Hightail is available for preorder now with a $100 deposit and a delivery date of late 2025.
