Dyson WashG1 Wet Floor Cleaner
For those with hard flooring, mopping is a necessity — yet the tools used to do so have barely changed over the years, making it a dreaded chore. With clever engineering, Dyson is looking to remake the task with the WashG1. It's built around two highly absorbent microfiber filament rollers that counter-rotate to remove even tough stains with minimal effort. The rollers are constantly hydrated over 26 points by a pulse-modulated pump that allows for multiple cleaning modes. As the rollers spin, dirty water is removed by extraction plates and heads to a dedicated tank while nylon-bristled inner brush bars remove dirt and debris and flick them into a removable bin. The battery-powered machine can run for up to 35 minutes at a time, has a 27 oz. clean water tank — enough to clean 3,100 sq. ft. — and will be available in Fall 2024.
