The fiberglass used in Charles and Ray's original shell gave each piece unique variations. Although the material was eventually discontinued due to environmental reasons, Herman Miller® revived the chair's vintage character in 2013 with the development of eco-fiberglass. Available in two tonal options, the Eames® Molded Fiberglass Low Wire Base Armchair features a classic textured shell with sculpted arms and a waterfall seat edge. It's mounted on a low-lying wire base.
