Effeffe Berlinetta
Inspired by Italian racers of the 1950s and 60s, this brand-new car looks and drives like few automobiles on the road today. The two brothers behind this stunning piece of work, Leonardo and Vittorio Frigerio, started their company to bring classic design and modern technology like 3D printing and modeling, new alloys, and up-to-date safety features into one passion project: the Berlinetta. The car is powered by a rebuilt 1971 Alfa Romeo twin-cam 4-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual gearbox, delivering 180 horsepower at 6500 rpm to a curb weight of fewer than 1,800 lbs. With great power comes great braking and suspension, with discs on all four corners and an independent front suspension, with a live-axle link in the rear. Interior upholstery will be tailored to the buyer's tastes, and will even come with a matching luggage set. The sale price also includes some time on the track to get a handle on your new Italian roadster — and it should feel right at home hugging the corners and roaring across the line.
