Emory 1959 Porsche 356A Coupe
Emory Motorsports specializes in creating Porsche 356's with performance that could only be dreamed of by the car's original engineers. This 1959 356A sunroof coupe is a bespoke build commissioned by the seller in 2013, and has had continual upgrades by Emory since. The biggest is a conversion from the original 185 horsepower pushrod flat-four to a 205 horsepower overhead cam four-cylinder 911 engine — no small bump in a flyweight like the 356. The suspension is Emory's custom 911-based design and a dry-sump oil system with remote cooler. The interior is pure vintage Porsche, with saddle leather and Spinneybeck inserts on the seats. Roadster-style door panels, square weave carpet, and four-point harnesses complete the vintage racer look. Possibly the best part about this Emory 356 is getting to skip the years-long waiting list for one, and getting to enjoy one of the best 356's immediately.
