Eric Clapton's 1913 Gibson Style O Acoustic Guitar
A guitar owned and played by Eric Clapton would be notable on its own. Nicknamed "Pattie", this 1913 Gibson Style O Acoustic Archtop was not only owned and played by Clapton, but was also played by George Harrison during their songwriting collaborations in 1968. Those sessions produced the song "Badge", included on the final Cream album Goodbye, with the bridge repurposed for The Beatles classic "Here Comes The Sun". The guitar was later left by Clapton in the possession of LA musician Delaney Bramlett, who kept it until his passing in 2008. Documented in photos and in the Eric Clapton documentary Life In 12 Bars, it's a rare piece of rock history and is available for sale via Reverb.
