Built within the Los Huemules Conservation Reserve, the Explora El Chalten Lodge is the best way to explore the Argentinean Patagonia. It's situated on the bans of the Eléctrico River and features 20 timber-lined guest rooms, each with its own view of the stunning landscape. Designed for nature enthusiasts, the retreat has a full trekking lineup, with explorations taking advantage of the 14,000-acre reserve. There are over 30 explorations to choose from and accommodate all difficulty levels. After a long day of hiking, guests can soak in the open-air jacuzzis and refuel at the on-site restaurant serving wood-fired barbecued, handmade sausages, empanadas baked in a traditional mud oven, and local vegetables.
