Extans knows a thing or two about striking bike designs, and the British design house names after the Akhal-Teke horse is adding another bike to their stable. Previously, customers could choose between the black Shadow and the white Shine, and now Extans has added the Sheen: which is quite likely their most impressive to date. The bike features a monocoque carbon frame made from blue carbon fiber and a chrome-plated head tube, seat clamp, and wheel dropouts that are CNC machined from a single aluminum billet. The Sheen also has a full carbon fork, seat post, and handlebars, along with distinctive 24k gold accents throughout. Inspired by the world of luxurious jewelry, this gem of a transportation mode weighs less than 21 pounds and only 19 will be made.
