F*ck Feelings
Most self-help books want you to focus on your feelings as a way to find your path. This is not most self-help books. Penned by a Harvard-educated psychiatrist and his comedy-writing daughter, F*ck Feelings: One Shrink's Practical Advice for Managing All Life's Impossible Problems is both helpful and funny. It doesn't so much tell you to ignore your feelings as to remind you that spending a lot of time thinking about them is generally unproductive, and that what you should be doing is recognizing your flaws and working on fixing them. No irrationally positive thinking required.
