Ferrari F80 Supercar

Once a decade, Ferrari unleashes something special. Joining a run of cars that began with the 288GTO, the F80 will take its place among the halo cars of Ferrari's illustrious history. The F80 will not use a V12 like the Enzo and LaFerrari. A hybrid drivetrain uses a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo 120-degree V6 that sits amidships with an electric motor at each axle for a total power output of 1,184 horsepower. Even more impressive is the downforce number: 2,315 pounds, which takes the knowledge gleaned from Ferrari's F1 and Le Mans programs and applies it to the street. A 48v active suspension system and five-lug — not center-locking — carbon five-spoke wheels promise track car driving dynamics. The styling is suitably outlandish, with a design that marries the necessities of aerodynamics with sci-fi inspiration — according to Ferrari's head of design Flavio Bertoni himself. Ferrari will produce 799 F80s, with deliveries slated to begin in 2026.
