Ferrari Hypersail Yacht
The engineers and designers at Ferrari are well-versed in aerodynamics and control technologies. Now they're bringing their know-how to the water with the Hypersail. The 100-foot monohull prototype vessel is designed to fly above the water on just three contact points, with one foil linked to a canting keel, a rudder, and, alternately, two lateral foils. Created with sustainability and autonomy in mind, it's meant to rely on renewable energy sources like wind, solar, and kinetic power, and has no traditional engine. It's currently under construction in Italy and will launch in 2026, with sea trials beginning soon after.
