Finca Rio Oro

Known for its extreme biodiversity, Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula is home to 700 species of trees, 463 species of birds, 140 mammals and 25 species of dolphins and whales. A slice of this nature haven is up for grabs in the form of the 3,300-acre ranch Finca Rio Oro. The property includes expansive rainforests and pastures that are home to the highest concentration of jaguars in the country and the largest population scarlet macaws on the globe. While the land borders the region's biggest freshwater lagoon, it offers a mile-long stretch of pristine beachfront, as well as waterfalls, freshwater springs, creeks, and a river.
