FLIR Black Hornet Personal Recon System
Incredibly small, light, and quiet, the FLIR Black Hornet Personal Recon System is meant to be the eyes and ears of soldiers in the field. It can send back standard or thermal imaging video and stills over an encrypted link from over a mile away. Weighing just 1.16 oz with a field-replaceable battery, it has a flight time of 25 minutes, a top speed of over 22 mph, and best-in-class visual and acoustic signatures, letting it get closer to potential targets and threats without being spotted. It's not currently available to civilians, but over 8,000 of them are already in the hands of US Army servicemen and women around the world.
