Flo Floating Cabin
A former logging route is now the site for a unique overnight stay in Norway. Flo is a micro-cabin floating on the surface of the Halden Canal. It's designed to drift on the water, allowing visitors to take in different vantage points of the surrounding scenery. The exterior features an asymmetrical butterfly roof and rough spruce facade as a nod to the area's logging heritage, and the interior is clad in wood to provide a warm atmosphere to take in the views from the expansive glazing. Inside, the 323-square-foot interior provides a bedroom and sitting area with a wood-burning stove, while a deck offers an outdoor space.
