Flokehyttene Cabins

Situated on the same Norwegian coast where Vikings sailed to discover Iceland, the Flokehyttene Cabins are a tribute to the area's ancient heritage. The five timber structures are anchored to the rocky shore by steel columns for minimal disputation to the natural terrain, while an angular form withstands the harsh winds and maximizes views of the dramatic landscape. Each cabin is named after a member of the Vilgerdsson Viking family and includes a kitchen, living area, and bathroom. Plywood cladding and warm fireplaces create a cozy atmosphere, while large picture windows frame in panoramic views of the North Sea.
