Flying-V Passenger Jet Concept
Named after the iconic Gibson guitar, this Flying-V jet concept uses its shape as more than a stylistic concern. It's projected to use 20% less fuel than traditional designs, while accommodating 314 passengers in the wings, along with fuel and cargo. Created by Delft University of Technology student Justus Benad, it's currently in development thanks to support from Dutch airline KLM, with the first test flight planned for later this year and a commercial release slated for 2040.
