Ford Noise-Cancelling Kennel
If you're a dog owner, you know how disturbing big noises like fireworks can be for your pet. To address the issue, Ford took the active noise-canceling technology they use in vehicles and placed it into a tent-shaped doghouse. The kennel was built using acoustic isolation panels, soundproof ventilation, anti-vibration block risers, and an automatic door. When microphones inside the kennel detect the sound of fireworks, a built-in audio system emits opposing frequencies to cancel out or significantly reduce the noise and protect your dog's super sensitive hearing. The kennel is currently only a prototype but could have a major impact on the lives of pets if brought to market.
