Fritz Neuser's Ferrari Collection
At 93, Fritz Neuser has decided it's time to pass on his life's work. A champion amateur cyclist who competed at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, Neuser founded a garage in Nuremberg in 1962, eventually becoming an official Ferrari dealer, and spent six decades earning the trust of Maranello while cultivating personal friendships with Enzo Ferrari, Michael Schumacher, and Luciano Pavarotti. He raced too, competing in 68 hill climbs and circuit races and winning 52. The 333-lot no-reserve auction spans 30 cars and 300 lots of automobilia, led by a 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona. A collection sixty years in the making, now available to the next generation of enthusiasts.
