Garage Italia Fiat 500 Spiaggina EV
The Fiat 500 'Topolino' debuted in 1936 as one of the smallest cars in the world — possibly the first city car in history. The original 500 ended production in 1955, and in 1957, the new 500 became one of the most iconic cars in history. Garage Italia is giving the classic 500 'Spiaggina' another lease on life with an EV conversion that turns the car into an open-top beach cruiser. The doors and roof are removed from the original 1969 donor, with bent tubing running around the rear of the passenger compartment and along the sides. The seats are replaced with rattan basket weave seats and ropes stretch across the door openings. All the controls and the single dash instrument have been seamlessly integrated into the 500 with an eye for its timeless style. Garage Italia's Fiat 500 is available now.
