Smartwatches don't have to be a one-model-suits-all affair, as Garmin's MARQ Carbon collection makes clear. It's made up of three variations, all of which sport a 46mm case and bezel made from 130 layers of fused carbon fiber, turned at each step for added strength and a unique look. The MARQ Athlete has sports-focused features like an endurance score, training readiness monitoring, and real-time stamina data, while the MARQ Golfer comes preloaded with more than 43,000 courses, has a Virtual Caddie that gives club recommendations based on wind, elevation, and the player's swing data, and even a shot dispersion chart showing what hazards are in play with each club. Designed for tactical operations, the MARQ Commander has a built-in ballistics solver for long-range shooting, a mode that makes it visible while wearing night vision goggles, a moving map that shows the path to the next waypoint, and a kill switch that will wipe the device if necessary. All three also handle basic smartwatch duties, like fitness tracking, advanced navigation, sleep monitoring, and notifications.
