Girard-Perregaux Free Bridge Meteorite Watch
Girard-Perregaux's Bridges collection dates back to the 1800s. The signature features of the Free Bridge Meteorite watch are much, much older than that. Set on either side of the center bridge, which supports the hour and minute hands, are pieces of the Gibeon meteorite. Discovered in Namibia, it's composed of an iron-nickel alloy and features naturally occurring flow lines termed the Widmanstätten pattern that gives every fragment a unique look. The timepiece is powered by a Calibre GP01800-2085 automatic movement, with components visible through both the openworked dial and exhibition caseback. Its stainless steel case measures 44mm across and sits on a black calf leather strap. Available beginning in March 2024.
