Although Google is no stranger to smartwatches, having created the Wear OS for other wearables, they've never developed one of their own. That's about to change. The tech giant has just announced its very first model, the Pixel Watch. Unveiled at the Google I/O event, the smartwatch features a round dome face made from stainless steel with a tactile crown and swappable watch bands. It will run off of an updated Wear OS 3 that offers users improved navigation and smart notifications, along with built-in Fitbit to track health and fitness goals. The Google Pixel Watch is slated for release this fall.
