For two decades, GoPro has been the camera you strap to your helmet or your board to capture your run down Corbet's Couloir or the drop at Pipeline. Now, the Mission 1 series takes that same sense of possibility and applies it to lean filmmaking, or any context where swappable lenses and 10-bit log color add value to what you want to capture. Built around a new GP3 processor and a 50-megapixel 1-inch sensor with 14 stops of dynamic range, it shoots 8K at 60fps and hits 1080p at 960fps in burst mode for 32x slow motion. The real headline is the Mission 1 Pro ILS, the first GoPro with interchangeable lenses, using a Micro Four Thirds mount that unlocks more than 150 native lenses without sacrificing HyperSmooth stabilization. The Enduro 2 battery runs five-plus hours at 1080p, both the Mission 1 and Pro are waterproof to 66 feet out of the box or 196 feet with a dive case, and four built-in mics with 32-bit float recording handle audio wherever you take it. The action camera just became a cinema camera.
