Gordon Murray Special Vehicles S1 LM
Gordon Murray famously designed the McLaren F1 after joining their Formula One team. For the first car from his new Special Vehicles company, he's paying homage to the Le Mans-winning classic with the S1 LM. Sporting a familiar but completely new design, it has a lowered roofline compared to the original, carbon fiber body panels, and a new aero kit including a front splitter, rear diffuser, and dual element rear wing. It's powered by a 4.3-liter V12 engine putting out over 690 horsepower, mated to a manual gearbox and a bespoke suspension. As with the F1, it has a central driving position that provides a fighter jet-style environment, with a passenger seat on either side. Only five examples of the road-legal S1 LM will be built, with deliveries set to begin in 2026.
