Honda Mean Mower V2

Honda lost the speed record set by its first Mean Mower, and now they're out to get it back — with a vengeance. The Mean Mower V2 pulls out all the stops and is a serious piece of engineering. A 1-liter inline four-cylinder motor from Honda's CBR1000RR motorcycle puts out 190 horsepower at 13,000 RPM, mated to a programmable paddle-shift six-speed transmission. All that motor sits in a custom chassis with 10-inch wheels and Hoosier slicks, and four-wheel disc brakes bring everything to a halt from Honda's estimated 150 MPH top speed. And it can still cut grass — carbon fiber blades powered by electric motors give a world-class trim that's almost as impressive as the Mean Mower's performance.
