Built in 1822, Hotel La Palma was the first hotel to ever open on the Island of Capri. After a complete renovation, Oetker Collection is reopening the historic property just in time for the summer. The hotel has been reimagined into a 50-room Mediterranean retreat with a spa and beach club. Its crown jewel is a rooftop restaurant helmed by two-Michelin Star chef Gennaro Esposito and a new pool deck with a bar designed to mimic the "classic Capri of the golden age." Each of its rooms and suites provides a modern take on the island's chic vibes with light, airy spaces decked out in bespoke furnishing while offering private terraces with views over the coast. The revamped Hotel La Palma is slated to open on July 1, 2022.
