Hublot Big Bang Unico Gourmet Watch
Damascus steel has a history that dates back to 300BC, and while modern versions aren't exactly the same, they're no less sharp, durable, and eye-catching. To celebrate its ongoing relationship with Michelin-starred chefs — who tend to prefer Damascus for their own tools — Hublot has created a watch with a case made from the stuff. The Big Bang Unico Gourmet has a 42mm case made by Damasteel, a Swedish firm that has folded 304L and 316L together to create its signature steel since 1876. It's powered by an in-house HUB1280 self-winding chronograph movement and sits on a Velcro-closure strap made from cooking apron fabric Limited to 200 examples.
