Hyundai Crater Concept SUV
Conceived by the team at the Hyundai America Technical Center in Irvine, CA, the Crater concept is a compact, futuristic electric SUV made for off-road adventure. On the exterior, the angular, sculptural bodywork is clad in green-gold matte paint and is joined by prominent skid plates, a roof platform for adding auxiliary lighting, extra storage, or other accessories, short overhangs for steep approach and departure angles, and hexagonal faceted 18-inch wheels clad in 33-inch off-road tires. Built on a monocoque architecture, the interior has exposed roll cage bars, bolstered seating, four-point harnesses, and a full-width head-up display, augmented by a bring-your-own-device infotainment solution. The Hyundai Crater Concept will be viewable at the Los Angeles Auto Show through Sunday, November 30th.
