ICH iC-R Rider Motorcycle Helmet
Intelligent Cranium Helmets wants to eliminate blind spots — and shoulder checks — with a new line of AI-powered smart helmets. The Virginia-based company first showed off a concept in 2015, with the finished product debuting at the 2025 CES in Las Vegas. Two rear-facing cameras give the iC-R a 240-degree viewing field, enabling riders to check six without taking their eyes off the road. A visor HUD displays pertinent info, including speed, navigational cues, incoming messages, and proximity warnings. A crash detection system can immediately dial 911 in the event of an accident if the rider is immobile for more than 15 seconds. Along with the safety features is a Duplex Bluetooth Mesh, Unlimited Range Mobile Network for up to 15 riders, and a wireless PTT intercom system. Battery life is 5-7 hours with a weight of 3.77 pounds. The helmet is DOT-certified, with Snell and ECE testing underway.
