Icon 1970 Land Cruiser FJ40
Built by Jonathan and Jamie Ward, this 2008 Icon 1970 Land Cruiser FJ40 is a tribute to the original Toyota Land Cruiser. It's built atop a J40 Land Cruiser, with a 350 hp 5.7L GM RamJet V8 engine under the hood, hand-built H52 aluminum body painted in a hybrid blend of Teflon and Spruce Green Cardinal paint powder. The seats are done in OF German marine vinyl with Chilewich textile panels, while the interior floors are coated in polyuria, and the dash mixes old-school gauges alongside panel knobs for functions like the wipers and lights. It's finished with a removable hardtop roof and side panels, Teflon-coated ATX Mojave wheels, and accessories like a two hitch, spare tire, and Jerry can.
