A few years back there was a big dustup about the air pressure in a certain pro team's balls. You might have heard about it. Turns out, most of us have no idea what the optimal pressure is for our inflated sporting goods, and few ways to check it beyond a bounce or a squeeze. The Innoflate needle attaches to standard pump hoses and emits a whistle when the ideal pressure is reached. For the basketball version, that's 8 PSI, but the company is promising future models for perfectly inflating soccer balls, volleyballs, and, yes, even footballs.
