Italdesign Honda NSX Tribute
Hot on the heels of JAS' Pininfarina-penned NSX Restomod, Italdesign showed up to the Tokyo Auto Salon with its own officially sanctioned take on the sports car. The Honda NSX Tribute is built on the second-generation platform, taking advantage of its modern hybrid powertrain while mixing cues from the first-generation model with novel new ideas. Up front, retractable "eyelids" ape the pop-up headlights of the original, and are joined by a slanted hood with vents inspired by the NSX-R GT race car. A scoop can be found on the roof, which blends seamlessly into the all-black greenhouse, another nod to the OG. Around back, the signature rear spoiler has been transformed into a looping light bar that serves as the taillights, while the interior sees modest upgrades. A highly limited, few-off creation, it's available exclusively in right-hand drive, meaning it's unlikely to ever see a stateside release.
