Jackery Solar Rooftop Tent

Jackery has combined a rooftop tent with its solar charging system for an integrated off-grid power solution. The clamshell design opens upwards while a row of solar panels deploy from each side, enough to produce up to 1000W in good conditions. That comes out to 4.96kWh per day in the Western US and drops to 4kWh moving eastward. The concept on display at CES powers a separate 1.26kWh E1000 Plus power station, good for 2000W of AC output. The power station can also be charged while driving in about seven hours, or from a wall jack at just over an hour and a half. The tent itself is insulated and features a memory foam mattress, colored dimmable lighting, and waterproof fabric. While still a concept, Jackery reports that the unit will go into production in the fourth quarter of 2024.
