Jacob & Co. Opera Godfather 50th Anniversary Watch
The Godfather is a cinematic masterpiece. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Jacob & Co has created a watch as complex as any of the characters. The Opera Godfather 50th Anniversary contains a host of shoutouts to the film, including an image of Marlon Brando as Don Corleone on a piano and the series' logo on a plate, which cover the combs that help to play the series' iconic theme music. The two rotating music-box barrels are etched with 13 famous quotes from the movie, equal to the number of iconic scenes laser-engraved on the sides of the 20mm-thick, 49 mm white gold case. It's powered by a Caliber JCFM04 movement, an impressive engine with 634 components and a triple-axis flying tourbillon, and at the center of it all is a sculptured red rose to represent the one the Don wears on his lapel at the wedding which opens the film. With an 18K gold pusher for the music box, an 18K gold violin-shaped winding cranks, and a black alligator strap, it's limited to 50 examples.
