Jaguar XKSS
Obviously classic, yet completely brand new. The Jaguar XKSS is being reborn by Jaguar Classic in a limited run that replaces the "lost" cars that burnt up in a fire at the company's Coventry plant in February 1957. This isn't just an old body bolted onto a current production chassis, either. Each of the nine cars is being built by hand to the exact same specifications as the 16 examples completed before the conflagration. To prove their commitment, a one-off has been completed and is on display at LA's Petersen Museum ahead of the nine production cars slated for delivery next year. Fully certified by Jaguar, it's the rare chance to experience something nearly 60 years old, as it was when it was brand new.
