Jeep Wrangler Magneto 2.0 Electric SUV Concept
Jeep is opening the Easter Jeep Safari with a revised and upgraded version of the all-electric Wrangler introduced in 2021. The Wrangler Magneto 2.0 uses an upgraded electrical system and motors to make 616 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque, driving all four wheels through a six-speed transmission from the Challenger Hellcat. Revised control software allows for peak amperage — what Jeep calls "electric nitrous" — to be delivered for up to 10 seconds, good for a claimed 0-60 time of two seconds. The two-door Wrangler chassis has been lengthened 12 inches to make room for the electric powertrain and sports a custom carbon fiber B-pillar and bikini top, with a Dana 60 front axle, Dana 80 rear axle, and a three-inch lift for serious off-road work.
