Jerry Seinfeld's RUF 1971 Porsche 911S Coupe
Comedic legend Jerry Seinfeld is a well-known Porsche fan. When he purchased this 1971 Porsche 911S Coupe in 2008, he did what many well-informed enthusiasts might — he shipped it off to the specialists at RUF in Pfaffenhausen, Germany, to have it refurbished. Over the next three years, it had a twin-plug 3.4L flat-six engine installed, mated to a six-speed manual transaxle, the chassis was reinforced and fitted with a RUF Bilstein suspension, and components such as the exhaust, brakes, and headlights were upgraded. It was also repainted in its current Gemini Blue Metallic, while the interior was redone in Pepita and leather upholstery with new lightweight door panels. It's now up for auction with a clean California title.
