1950年代に製造されたアルネ・ヴォッダーのチェイスラウンジは、ヴォッダー氏のタイムレスなデザインそのものである。ナチュラルなチーク材のフレームと曲線美シルエットがミックスされたこのビンテージ品は、デンマークのデザイナーのシグネチャーと言えよう。編み込まれたレザーシートに、晩酌に便利な木製のトレイテーブルを付けて仕上げた作品だ。一本のレザーで作られているという事を除いても、このチェア自体がなかなかお目にかかれない貴重な一品であることに違いはない。
