広葉樹林に囲まれた「ブラドーレイク・ハウス」はケープ・ブレトン島のウォーターフロントリトリート施設。3つの木製サイディングの棟からなるこの家は、それぞれ交差する廊下でつながっている。中央部分にはエントランスとオフィスがあり、共有エリアとプライベートエリアを分けている。機能的にはユニークではあるが、ユニットごとに小屋のようなシルエットがある。海岸に面したアングルで、なだらかな屋根の傾斜によりガラス窓をより高く持たせることで湖岸の広い景色が一望できるようになっているのだ。
