ゴードン＆マクファイル社によって最近発売されたこの一本は、第二次世界大戦中に熟成された、世界で最も古いシングルモルトウイスキーだ。ほとんどの蒸留酒製造所が配給のため製造を中止していた中、グレンリベット蒸留所はこのウィスキーを1943年1月に発売した。42本のデキャンタのみの限定販売ではあるが、それぞれにシリアル番号が入っており、ウィスキーライタージョニー・マコーミック氏による記念本も付いている。
