ピュージェット・サウンドの森にある「スカベンジャー・スタジオ」はミニマリストな隠れ家だ。シンプルな形状のこの家は、黒焼きの合板とハーディーパネルを組み合わせた外壁をあしらい、保護を強化するための6つの基盤の上に建っている。キッチンやリビングエリアは1階部分にあり、鉄の階段を上っていくとガラス張りの寝室用ロフトへと繋がる。その名の通り、植物から取り壊された家から持ってきたキッチンのキャビネットまで再利用素材をできる限り多く使用されている。
