これまでシンガー社は1989〜1994年型の964ほどほぼ新車の911を作り上げたことはない。ウィリアムズF1のクルーと共同開発されたシンガー社の「964」には、ベースモデルを超えるほどの急進的なパフォーマンスが施されている。軽量マグネシウムとカーボンファイバーをボディー全体に使い、特別デザインの500hp水平対向6気筒エンジンでオリジナル版よりもさらに速い走りを実現。世界75台のみの限定生産だ。
