Kalmar 9X9 Sports Car

If Porsche doesn't build the 911 you want, someone out there does. Kalmar introduced the 9X9 during Monterey Car Week, a 959-inspired supercar based on the current 992-generation 911. While the 992's bones are definitely there, the 9X9 uses a custom double-wishbone pushrod-actuated suspension system at the front, tucked underneath carbon fiber bodywork that looks like a refreshed 959. The 9X9 is full of high-tech features, like 3D-printed titanium brake calipers, adaptive dampers, and rear-wheel steering. The 9X9 will come in three variants: a 992 Turbo S-based version making 950 horsepower and Porsche's PDK transmission, a GTS 4 version with 650 horsepower and a seven-speed manual, and a 992 GT3 with a six-speed and 530 horsepower. Deliveries of the 9X9 will begin sometime in 2025.
