Kevin Durant's Nike KD19
Kevin Durant has been called the Slim Reaper since 2014, a nickname born on Reddit that referenced his 6-foot-10 frame and his habit of quietly putting teams away from anywhere on the court. He famously resisted it for years, once saying he preferred "The Servant." The KD19 leans into it. The shoe's exterior TPU dagger, constructed through a dual-injection process, gives the silhouette its signature shape, with the first injection creating heel and midfoot lockdown and the second forming the dagger itself. Underneath, a full-length Zoom Strobel pairs with a 3D-molded sock liner and Cushlon 3.0 midsole for all-game comfort, while a midfoot shank handles stability. A textile tongue keeps things breathable, and his Oklahoma City number 35 and Houston number 7 are pressed into the outsole traction pattern.
